Welded Stainless Steel Eyes

All of these eyes are
solid stainless steel-- polished.. Not plated.. That does make them look good, but isn't the reason for it.. It is common to mount these right next to the BP ejection charge on the avionics bay bulkhead.. What better material to bear that corrosive environment ? |

I love to fly with a piston in the payload section..
With that in mind I have always had 1/4" Female eyes..
You can also use these with a 1/4"/ 20 X 1/2" Stainless Hex Bolt
( I have if you need ) for an ultra clean installation,,
just run the bolt up through from the underside of the bulkhead..
These 3/16" eye's are the perfect fit on the top centering ring for a super solid, neat, clean, meant to be harness mount..
I've done this in a 2.6" airframe with a 38 mm motor mount..
And in a 3" airframe with a 54 mm motor mount..
Just mount the eye before you mount the centering ring.. The washer overhangs a tiny bit, just grind it with your moto tool and the fit is perfect again.
Then I bury it's nuts top and bottom in epoxy..
The 2 largest sizes are for the threaded forward enclosure of Aerotech motor hardware.. Perfect recovery attachment point, super easy to use..
