Tubular Nylon Harnesses w/ a Kevlar Sleeve

Kevlar and Nylon both have fantastic qualities
for use as recovery harnesses for High Power Rocketry.
The proponents of Nylon say that Kevlar
doesn't "give" at all, that Kevlar is unforgiving.
The proponents of Kevlar say that Nylon doesn't resist
heat / flame well enough, that Nylon burns too easily.
We have found a way to "Have your cake and eat it too".
By sleeving the first foot of a Nylon harness in Tubular Kevlar,
the Nylon is completely protected from the ejection charge.
You simply attach your Nomex blanket
to the end of the 1 foot Tubular Kevlar sleeve.
Everything above the blanket is exposed to the ejection charge,
and nothing below the blanket.
